Kai is a mascot for the Twitch streamer and content creator Eraleas. I was asked to design a 3D version of their stream mascot so he could be used for a range of interactions on their live streams and for promotions. Once modelled, rigged and textured to match Eraleas' emotes, I then had to animate looping reactions to be coded into the live stream. Kai then plays through each reaction when certain tasks are achieved on stream.
Once created, Kau can now be used as an on-going asset for future promotions. He was built in Cinema4d and rendered in Octane. The animations are then exported as web formats to work well with streaming software.
